Mayco S&C glazes – versatile and convenient to brush on

Anti-settling and glazing agents make the glaze easy to brush onto bisque-fired ware by slowing absorption.

Mayco liquid glazes are becoming increasingly popular. The main reason is their excellent firing results across a broad temperature range. Their outstanding coverage and ability to minimise glazing errors also contribute to their success: the material does not run even in thicker layers. Mayco glazes from the same range can be combined; colours stay well defined, and potters often mix them to achieve a wider palette.

The main advantage of Mayco glazes is their ease of use. No pouring powder, weighing or transferring between containers: simply dispense accurately from the applicator bottle. This makes them particularly popular in school, therapeutic and hobby workshops.

Our Mayco range also includes FN basic coloured glazes in 473 ml packs. These base glazes have a slightly lower pigment content but excellent coverage.

Mayco SC glazes are also available in a more economical size. We sell them in 473 ml jars, reducing the cost by approximately 20% compared with the familiar 160 g bottles.
