Chrysanthos Engobes

NEW – Chrysanthos UG liquid semi-matt engobes for firing at 1000–1220°C

– some shades withstand up to 1300°C; supplied in 60 ml packs. These richly coloured clay-based decorating colours have a high flux and pigment content. They can be applied to leather-hard or bisque-fired ware and are pleasant to brush on.

For brighter colours, cover with a transparent glaze. We recommend Chrysanthos SG 213 liquid glaze or another transparent glaze you normally use. Underglaze decoration is the most common application for these materials.
