It is used to knead new clay before further processing, mix different clays and reclaim waste clay. The clay is worked into a plastic state and thoroughly homogenised for subsequent use.

The mixing cylinder as well as osa the mixing components and blades are made from stainless steel. All other parts in contact with clay are also made from stainless steel or plastic. The large opening allows the pugmill to be filled from above. The mixing cylinder (235 mm diameter) can be easily dismantled for cleaning . Two transport wheels and two fixed feet provide mobility and a stable working position. The support table with a cutting wire is removable.

The mixing shaft is driven by a powerful motor with a worm gearbox. The front aluminium nozzle, with an 80 mm outlet diameter, has threaded fittings for attaching dies. A safety device with automatic shut-off is included.
