Professional potter's wheel

The BTH Andromeda DD03 potter's wheel is a robust, reliable machine designed for intensive use in studios and pottery workshops. It is ideal for potters who need high torque even at low speeds and smooth operation with different clay bodies. Its modern direct-drive motor, without a transmission, provides high efficiency, immediate response to speed changes, minimal vibration and a long service life. It is also quiet, producing just 40 dB during normal operation, creating a calm working environment where you can concentrate fully on your work.

Speed control

BTH potter's wheels connect to standard domestic sockets (230 V) and have low power consumption. The wheelhead is driven directly, with speed controlled by a foot pedal from 0 to 300 rpm. Once adjusted, the pedal stays in position to maintain the selected speed. It uses patented Hall sensor technology, which is virtually maintenance-free. A switch makes it easy to select clockwise or anticlockwise rotation to suit your preference. Acceleration time is under 1 second; response time when slowing down is under 2 seconds.

Wheelhead and magnetic splash pan

The wheelhead is made from a lightweight aluminium alloy and has a diameter of 352 mm, centring grooves and pins for attaching a bat, available as an optional accessory. The splash pan is a practical aid that helps keep your work area clean. Made from smooth plastic, it is easy to clean. Magnets allow its two halves to connect easily.

Height adjustment

The wheel offers three working heights to suit the potter: 450 mm, 500 mm or 550 mm, making it easy to choose a comfortable position. Height-adjustable legs also ensure stability. The entire construction is designed for ergonomics and comfort while throwing.
